He returned to New Zealand in 2003 to write dorner conveyor and record his debut solo album, Good Days, Better Nights. The first singe New Way of Life is a fantastic example of Tubbs work, as he says Deep grooves for sunshine kids, well the grooves work for us. Once he landed in London he Initially found work as a touring DJ with legendary rapper Silver Bullet, Tubbs soon started collaborating with kindred spirits ILS dorner conveyor and Wall Of Sounds The Dirty Beatniks, which lead to a couple of years of frantic touring.
